Suffragan Bishop Errol O’Savio
Suffragan Bishop Errol O’Savio was born to Joseph and Madge O’Savio in Kingston, Jamaica where he received his formal education in the public school system. Migrating to the United States he continued his education and obtained Bachelor degrees from Pace University in Business Administration with concentration in finance and Aenon Bible College in Pastoral Ministry.
An ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World He serves as Pastor of the Mt. Olivet Apostolic Faith Church, located in Mt. Vernon, New York. As former Secretary, Vice Chair and Chairman (positions he held for over 23 continuous years) of the New York State Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Suffragan Bishop O’Savio focused on revamping the Council moving it from a paper and notebook environment to a computerized environment. As presides of District 1 his area of responsibility covers Westchester County, Bronx, Long Island and Orange County. As pastor, he constantly seeks to provide spiritual, academic and moral guidance to those with whom he comes in contact.
He is sustained and balanced by his loving family, wife, Rev. Judith O’Savio who serves as Executive Pastor of the Mt. Olivet Ministry, daughter, Desiree O’Savio, son, Alexander O’Savio who serves as Minister of Music, five grandchildren, Dominic, Demetrius, Dallas, Madison and Blessan and a vibrant Mt. Olivet membership.
